Frank Aggazio possesses over 28 years of progressive experience in the management of assisted housing, with 23 years of service at the Allegheny County Housing Authority and 13 years as the Executive Director. While at the Allegheny County Housing Authority, he has also held the positions of Deputy Executive Director and Director of the Housing Choice Voucher Program. Under Mr. Aggazio's leadership, the Allegheny County Housing Authority has undertaken several new assisted housing initiatives, including three HOPE VI revitalization projects, 21 Mixed Finance transactions using the low-income housing tax-credit program, which has exceeded $225,000,000 in development, an award winning homeownership program, a comprehensive on-site resident elderly program, and other innovative methods to provide quality affordable housing options. Under Mr. Aggazio's direction, the Allegheny County Housing Authority has received a multitude of awards on a state and national level, including "High Performer" status from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for four of the past six years, the most distinguished honor for housing authorities.

A lifelong resident of the Pittsburgh area, Frank has served as President of Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials showing his commitment to affordable housing in the Allegheny County area. In the fall 2010, Frank was appointed to the Pennsylvania Association of Housing and Redevelopment Authorities Executive Committee in the position of First Vice President. Currently, Frank sits on the Executive Board of two Pittsburgh-based organizations, Residential Resources, Inc. and The Josh Gibson Foundation.

Mr. Aggazio holds a Masters of Public Administration degree from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.
