Charles Brown Member at Large

Charles T. Brown has more than 30 years of progressively responsible experience consulting, supervising, administering, leading and working with groups and individuals in private and non-profit companies. He has worked with presidents of corporations, vice presidents, directors and other employees at various levels. Charles has led a number of these companies through start-up, reorganizations, turnarounds, and growth modes from a human resources/relations point of view. He is currently employed at the Allegheny County Housing Authority. In the past, Charles has spent 30 years in the human resources, wage and salary administration, benefits, wage and job evaluation, EEO, and corporate compliance fields. He has served as Assistant Administrator of a medium size corporation. He has held numerous positions and titles as he worked his way up from rank and file positions. He also sits on six boards/committees and is the Board Director of one corporation. He created a small corporation and developed staff whose primary responsibilities center around the welfare of children.

Among his significant previous positions, Charles served as Assistant Administrator of a medium size corporation, a non-profit based entity, overseeing and supervising five directors with over 120 employees. He was the President and CEO of a small private corporation supervising three creative directors and employees. One of his most enjoyable positions is currently working with public housing residents and assisting with the resolution of challenges associated with person/professional growing of people and them moving to be independent and beyond Self-Sufficiency. He has taught at the Center of Urban and Biblical Ministry.

Charles holds a Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He has many certificates and awards.
